The Program Risk Management (PMR) team, based within the Regional Operations unit of ESRO, delivers strategic guidance and oversight to EAR Country Offices (CO’s) regarding the execution of the Office of Strategy and Evidence’s (ONE) Program Implementation Procedure and its corresponding Handbook. This framework encompasses key areas such as work planning, ACT assurance planning and execution, collaboration with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and adherence to Social and Environmental Standards (SES), including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).
This role will deliver administrative support to both the PMR team and the broader office environment. Additionally, it will involve collecting and analyzing data to help advance the team’s objectives, ensuring high-quality and efficient development, management, and monitoring of government and civil society partnerships at the country office (CO) level, as well as associated risk management efforts. Responsibilities will include leveraging relevant e-Platforms—such as tools, INPP, Insight, Vision, and RAM—as well as extracting and analyzing data from these systems.
Key responsibilities and essential duties and tasks include:
Engage in supporting the planning and execution of ACT assurance initiatives for EAR Country Offices by extracting, analyzing, and reporting pertinent information and data. This role involves leveraging insights derived from data to streamline planning processes, prioritize activities, and enhance the effectiveness of Age-related efforts.
Contribute to the PMR team by gathering, evaluating, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and information from UNICEF’s systems to enhance program and risk management, as well as to assist in the development of reports and presentations. Additionally, assist with Peer Review exercises.
Assess assigned evaluations and program assurance documents to pinpoint critical deficiencies in the execution of ACT, providing your supervisor and team with the necessary insights to prioritize and address these issues promptly through targeted actions or direct engagement with country offices.
Assist in organizing meetings and webinars, contributing to the development of PowerPoint presentations.
Collaborates with stakeholders to enhance capacity-building initiatives focused on program management and ACT implementation, contributing to the development of training materials and engaging in practical exercises for deploying partnership systems such as INPP, tools, and exact.
Developing and presenting monitoring and reporting data on established key performance indicators to enhance managerial efficiency and ensure accountability for outcomes, with a focus on providing oversight and analytical support for EAR Country Offices. This may encompass, among other tasks:

Act as the primary supply liaison for the Operations Section, overseeing all logistical requirements and ensuring seamless coordination of resources.
