POSITION SUMMARY

The Finance Assistant will provide operational support to NEAR’s financial functions in the Nairobi office, handling routine tasks such as drafting purchase orders, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies, internal procedures, and donor mandates. This role will play a key part in maintaining precise financial documentation, facilitating timely reporting, and delivering streamlined assistance during audits and month-end closing procedures.
