The Sectional IP Network Engineer–Field will deliver MAN network availability and customer uptime KPIs by performing on-site maintenance focused on power-related issues for designated MAN nodes, maintaining service quality and continuity in accordance with company KPIs and within allocated budgetary constraints. Additionally, the role involves conducting feasibility assessments and implementation activities, as well as managing billing-related disconnections and reconnections of ISDN and PSTN circuits at the MAN level.
Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties, including the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity across teams. Ensure continuous MAN availability by proactively maintaining the power supply of the nodes.
Ensure prompt handling and resolution of MAN and Switch power-related faults in adherence to the agreed SLA.
Ensuring the customer remains fully informed throughout each critical phase of the restoration process by providing essential updates.
Conduct feasibility assessments, implement ISDN and PSTN circuits, and manage their disconnection and reconnection as required.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for customer setup processes, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout all stages.
Ensure a secure work environment by adhering to HSE protocols, engineering best practices, established procedures, and applicable legal regulations.
Monitor individual performance metrics and recommend strategic initiatives to enhance overall productivity and effectiveness.
Monitor expenditures associated with the network and ensure alignment with financial reporting standards and objectives established by the Finance department.
