The Legal Operations Specialist (National TDB Volunteer) collaborates closely with the Legal Operations Manager to advance technology adoption, operational efficiency, process enhancements, transaction execution, and strategic initiatives within the Legal Department. This role delivers essential administrative and technical assistance to the Legal Operations Team, contributing to the optimization of TDB Group’s operations, safeguarding its interests, and minimizing legal exposure.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing project timelines efficiently, and ensuring team collaboration to meet organizational goals. Additionally, the role requires analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to guide team members, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a productive work environment. Proficiency in relevant software tools and a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role are required. The Legal Operations Specialist is responsible for a variety of critical functions, encompassing but not limited to the following duties and obligations:
Assist in enhancing the Legal Department’s processes, systems, and technology through ongoing improvements, while contributing to the creation and execution of a project pipeline aimed at boosting efficiency and effectiveness.
Support the Legal Operations Department by actively gathering, evaluating, and presenting data on Legal Department operations to develop key metrics that measure resource efficiency and drive productivity improvements, all while maintaining alignment with the Department’s strategic goals.
Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to pinpoint challenges and develop strategic solutions, partnering with consulting staff to execute the identified resolutions effectively.
The Legal Operations Department seeks assistance with project management functions for the Legal Department, encompassing the creation of project plans, ongoing status oversight, and meticulous task tracking.
Overseeing the complete transaction lifecycle from initiation to closure for multi-stakeholder lending activities within the Group, ensuring seamless end-to-end project management.
Responsibilities include assisting with monthly reviews and reconciliations of the Legal Department’s budget, as well as providing updated quarterly and annual forecasts when required.
The role involves assisting with a range of technical and administrative duties essential to the Department’s case management and closing processes, including document preparation, handling incoming and outgoing calls, drafting and distributing correspondence, managing document routing, and processing instructions and invoices from external legal counsel.
Ensuring both physical and digital legal documents are organized and managed in compliance with established Bank policies.
Assists in organizing meetings, facilitating pre-meeting arrangements, and executing post-meeting follow-up tasks to ensure the smooth operation of departmental activities.
Collaborating on diverse operational projects and initiatives within the department to enhance efficiency and productivity.

International exposure within a corporate, financial, or professional services environment—such as an international law firm, multinational corporation, banking institution, insurance provider, global consulting firm, development finance institution, Ministry of Finance, National Treasury, or Sovereign Wealth Fund—is highly beneficial.
Experienced in successfully leading and overseeing project initiatives from inception to completion.
Professional certification as a project manager is highly desirable.
Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and critical thinking, complemented by a capacity for adaptability and flexibility in problem-solving.
Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, negotiation, organization, and strategic planning, coupled with the capacity to thrive in multicultural settings, adapt to shifting priorities, and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
