About the role

Strath more School is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Mathematics and Science & Technology teacher to strengthen its Lower Primary faculty. The ideal applicant will deliver Mathematics instruction as the core subject, complemented by Science and Technology, for students in Grade 1 through Grade 3.

We seek a candidate who demonstrates deep expertise in their field alongside a sincere passion for engaging with young learners, coupled with the skill to design and deliver dynamic, developmentally suitable lessons.

Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to ensure organizational objectives are met with precision and efficiency. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive project alignment, monitor progress, and address challenges proactively. Develop and implement robust policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance productivity and accountability across all functions. Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders at all levels to foster transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement. Serve as a key decision-maker, providing guidance and solutions to complex issues while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Develop and execute engaging, high-quality Mathematics and Science & Technology lessons tailored for learners in Grades 1 through 3.

Develop and execute instructional activities that are fully aligned with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) standards.

Evaluate learner advancement regularly and deliver prompt feedback to facilitate continual improvement.

Responsible for meticulously documenting learner attendance, performance, and developmental progress to ensure precise record-keeping.

Foster a welcoming, diverse, and dynamic classroom atmosphere that encourages engagement and growth for all students.

Partner with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to foster student wellbeing and academic success.

Engage in various school-related functions, including extracurricular activities, faculty meetings, and ongoing professional growth initiatives.

We seek candidates with a strong academic background and relevant professional experience in the specified field. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in key technical and operational areas, ensuring they meet the core competencies outlined by the role. Years of hands-on experience, specialized training, or industry certifications may be required to fulfill the position’s demands effectively. Additionally, familiarity with relevant tools, methodologies, or regulatory standards will be crucial to success in this capacity.

A qualified educator with a specialization in Mathematics is required.

Applicants must possess current TSC registration or meet the eligibility criteria for registration with the Teachers Service Commission.

Exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal communication is essential.

Proven expertise and a strong commitment to education are essential for this role, as evidenced by prior teaching experience and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering student growth.

Desirable
