Role Description
The IDEA LION Group is seeking a full-time Insurance Sales Representative to work on-site in Nairobi County, Kenya. This role involves actively engaging with prospective and existing clients to promote and sell insurance products, deliver customized advice, and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction. Key duties also include assessing client needs, developing tailored risk management solutions, maintaining precise records, and consistently meeting both individual and team sales objectives.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by at least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in frameworks like React or Angular. The ideal applicant should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, conducting thorough testing to ensure functionality and performance, and troubleshooting issues to deliver seamless user experiences.
Accomplished expertise in insurance sales, contract negotiation, and strategic development is required.
Exceptional interpersonal abilities and proficiency in cultivating and maintaining client relationships are essential.
Skilled in assessing customer requirements to provide tailored insurance solutions.
Industry experience is preferred, with a focus on candidates holding a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in insurance.
Proven capability to thrive in both collaborative team settings and individual work environments.
Proficiency in a regulated field like law enforcement—particularly with exposure to criminal inquiries, evidence handling, or adherence to police protocols—is considered a strong asset.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a closely related discipline is highly desirable.
RENUMERATION
Earnings are determined by a monthly commission structure.
