POSITION SUMMARY
Kitchen Support Experts contribute significantly to the smooth operation of various hotel departments, including the kitchen, food and beverage services, and employee dining facilities. These associates collaborate across teams to meet the operational needs of the hotel. They input and retrieve data from computer databases using keyboards, mice, or trackballs to ensure accurate record-keeping and file updates. Additionally, they operate standard office equipment beyond computers. Their responsibilities include drafting correspondence, memos, and other documents through word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. They establish and maintain both digital and physical filing systems to organize records, reports, and documents efficiently. These experts also gather, duplicate, sort, and file documentation related to office activities, business transactions, and other key functions. Furthermore, they utilize computers to enter and retrieve essential work-related information.
Follow all established company policies, safety protocols, and security measures; promptly report any maintenance concerns, incidents, accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions to a supervisor; and complete all required safety training and certifications. Maintain a clean, polished uniform and professional personal presentation while safeguarding confidential company information and company property. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, communicating with clarity and professionalism at all times. Cultivate and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues, actively contributing to team objectives and shared goals. Uphold the organization’s quality standards and expectations through meticulous attention to detail. Remain capable of prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, and perform tasks requiring overhead reach, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Handle, transport, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and execute any other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, alongside expertise in system design and architecture. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable, as is experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions are also key requirements. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
Seeking candidates with a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a closely related discipline to support operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Minimum of three to four years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position is required.
Ideally, candidates should have prior experience within a hospitality or luxury service setting, with a strong preference for those who have worked in a four- or five-star hotel environment.
