Job Description

To spearhead the internal audit and risk management functions, you will deliver independent assurance and advisory services designed to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control processes.

Minimum Qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with three to five years of relevant professional experience. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with experience in software development methodologies and frameworks. Familiarity with database management systems and cloud computing platforms is also required. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects are necessary.

Requires a four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.

With eight years of professional experience in the relevant field, you possess a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices and have honed essential skills through hands-on involvement.

Oversee and execute essential duties related to the role, including managing core functions and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and achieve departmental goals. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The incumbent will serve as the Secretary to the Audit Committee of the Board, ensuring the accurate documentation and dissemination of committee proceedings. This role involves coordinating meeting schedules, preparing agendas and minutes, and facilitating effective communication among committee members and stakeholders. The Secretary will also assist in maintaining compliance with governance standards and supporting the Audit Committee in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities.

Prepare and oversee responses to Management Letters issued by external auditors to ensure accurate and timely resolution of identified issues.

As needed, oversee and manage specialized audit investigations to address specific concerns or irregularities.

Ensure the execution of risk management procedures and verify adherence to established risk management policies.

Foster a risk-conscious mindset throughout the entire organization, ensuring that risk awareness is embedded in all operations and decision-making processes.

Compose and deliver audit and risk reports to the Board for review and consideration.

Responsible for overseeing the execution of audit recommendations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.

Ensure adherence to corporate governance best practices and regulatory compliance across all applicable laws and regulations.

Develop comprehensive audit, risk management, and related policies and strategies while ensuring their successful implementation.

Design and establish robust audit management frameworks, ensuring comprehensive documentation and effective implementation throughout the organization.

Conduct annual audit planning and oversee its execution to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory standards.

Ensure adherence to budgetary controls by verifying compliance with the established financial parameters and ongoing plans.

Facilitate seamless communication and coordination with external auditors to ensure alignment on audit procedures, timelines, and deliverables.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is necessary. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting is a must. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is crucial. Experience in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities are required.

A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in business management, obtained from an accredited and recognized institution, is required.

A bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent in Business Administration and Management with a specialization in Accounting or Finance, from an accredited and recognized institution is required.

A master’s degree in a business-related discipline will be considered an additional asset.

Minimum 8 years of experience in audit and risk management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

This role requires a keen analytical mindset, proficiency in risk quantification methodologies, and the ability to develop comprehensive risk response strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing the enterprise-wide risk management framework, conducting thorough risk evaluations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
