Key Accountabilities:

Overseeing critical responsibilities associated with managing high-value client relationships, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering long-term partnerships. Engaging directly with senior stakeholders to understand needs, deliver tailored solutions, and maintain consistent communication to drive satisfaction and retention. Analyzing market trends and client performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and proactively address potential risks. Collaborating cross-functionally to align resources, streamline processes, and optimize service delivery for key accounts. Monitoring contract compliance, performance targets, and financial outcomes to ensure accountability and mutual value realization. Representing the organization in high-stakes negotiations, securing renewal agreements, and expanding business through upsell or cross-sell strategies.

Prepare, assess, negotiate, and oversee contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Offer strategic legal counsel on investment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring initiatives.

Perform comprehensive legal due diligence reviews for prospective investments and potential business partnerships.

Oversee adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies to maintain organizational compliance and mitigate risk.

Facilitate the implementation and oversight of corporate governance frameworks, with particular emphasis on board operations and committee functions.

Engage collaboratively with external legal representatives, regulatory authorities, and relevant stakeholders to address legal concerns and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Preserve and revise legal documents, agreements, and mandatory statutory registers as required.

Perform comprehensive legal research and deliver prompt legal assessments regarding developing matters impacting the business.

Provide assistance to the Company Secretary function as necessary.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or computer science, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while adhering to quality standards. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry best practices is also expected.

A Juries Doctor or Bachelor of Laws degree is required for consideration.

As a legal professional qualified to represent clients in the High Court, you will serve as an advocate, presenting cases before judicial authorities, offering expert legal counsel, and ensuring adherence to procedural and substantive law. Your responsibilities include drafting legal pleadings, delivering persuasive oral arguments, and conducting thorough research to support clients’ positions. You must possess a valid law license, demonstrate proficiency in litigation strategies, and exhibit exceptional analytical and communication skills to navigate complex legal disputes effectively.

Minimum requirement includes two years of experience gained after admission.

Applicants should possess a strong background in legal practice, ideally gained through roles as in-house counsel or within a high-volume law firm environment. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in corporate law, commercial law, litigation, and conveyancing.
