Key Responsibilities

Formulate and assess investment strategies, financial models, and business cases to ensure robust decision-making and optimal financial outcomes.

Perform comprehensive financial analyses encompassing forecasting, valuation, and risk evaluation to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Evaluate profitable investment prospects and assist in determining optimal capital allocation strategies.

Provide strategic guidance on portfolio management, funding frameworks, and financial enhancement strategies.

Compile financial reports, design comprehensive dashboards, and conduct thorough investment performance reviews to provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Facilitate fundraising initiatives, cultivate meaningful donor relationships, and engage with investors as required to advance organizational goals.

Maintain adherence to all applicable financial regulations, internal policies, and established governance standards to ensure organizational integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, alongside excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with agile methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Additionally, prior experience in full-stack development or DevOps practices will be considered advantageous.

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment Management, or a closely related field is required, with a Master’s degree being strongly preferred.

Professional certification, such as a CFA, CPA, ARCA, or an equivalent credential, is highly beneficial.

Proven expertise in financial analysis, investment appraisal, or corporate finance is required.

A strong command of financial modeling techniques, advanced Excel functionalities, and sophisticated analytical tools is essential.

Experience in development initiatives, private sector financing, or donor-supported programs is particularly beneficial.

Demonstrated proficiency in clear and concise communication, coupled with exceptional analytical reasoning and decisive judgment, is essential for success in this role.
