We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team, where you will be responsible for a diverse range of critical tasks and initiatives. Your primary duties will include collaborating with cross-functional departments to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Track inventory costs and monitor stock movements, ensuring accurate recording of both unit quantities and valuation.

Conduct a thorough analysis of inventory aging to pinpoint slow-moving items and evaluate necessary provisions, ensuring optimal stock management and alignment with operational needs.

Conduct stock takes and document any discrepancies that arise.

Reconcile goods in transit (GIT) by verifying and balancing transfers conducted between branches, warehouses, and suspense accounts.

Ensure alignment between the inventory general ledger (GL) and the corresponding submodule records.

Compile monthly reports to document changes in fixed assets.

Prepare detailed reports that analyze capital expenditure (Capex) as well as the movements related to property, plant, and equipment (PPE).

Oversee capital expenditure activities by facilitating the addition and disposal of assets.

Conduct planned fixed asset counts and verifications, with specific focus on coolers.

Oversee the ongoing administration and periodic updates of the fixed asset register to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Reconcile general ledger balances for fixed assets against the corresponding submodule records to ensure accuracy and alignment.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for success. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is required, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities. Candidates must demonstrate problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability. A proven track record of meeting deadlines and contributing to team goals is also necessary.

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is required.

A recognized accounting credential such as a CPA, ARCA, or CFA is required.

Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications. Demonstrated proficiency in financial operations within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.

Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is required, with prior experience serving as a notable advantage.
