Job purpose

To concentrate on conducting channel visits with the aim of enhancing retailer awareness and improving performance on SIMs and Float, while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Responsibilities involve overseeing and executing a range of critical tasks, including analyzing project requirements, developing strategic solutions, and ensuring adherence to established timelines. Additionally, the role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams to align objectives and deliver measurable outcomes, while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Contributing to process improvements, training team members, and reporting progress to stakeholders are also integral components of the position. Furthermore, the role requires staying updated on industry trends to foster innovation and competitive advantage.

SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping – Proactively identify and onboard Agents, with a focus on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.

Regularly conduct visits to SOS and Agents by following the established route plans, also known as beat plans, to ensure consistent coverage and engagement.

We are responsible for ensuring all necessary business tools are provided for seamless transactions at SSO and agent outlets. Additionally, we deliver comprehensive training to SOS and Trash Agents, equipping them with the knowledge of essential processes.

Train employees in anti-money laundering (AML) protocols and standards, with an additional focus on educating them on the Know Your Customer (KYC) process as it pertains to the SIM Registration (SIM REG) framework.

Float and stock management responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining adequate SIM card inventory while ensuring agents comply with the 1.5x stock rule. Additionally, the role involves monitoring stock levels to guarantee sales supervisors (SOS) have sufficient SIMs available for new customer registrations and activations.

Develop and uphold merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SSO and agent outlets.

• Academic credentials should include a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, coupled with professional certifications that bolster expertise.

A degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field—either at the diploma or bachelor’s level—is required for this position.

Experience

Requires a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in sales and distribution, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or telecommunications (Telcos) sectors.
