Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Spearhead the expansion of the insurance business through both internal channels within the ABC Bank Group and external distribution networks, with a primary focus on acquiring new customers and fostering cross-selling opportunities.

The assigned Region will handle daily insurance operations, focusing on new business development, cross-selling insurance products, claims administration, and documentation.

Promptly manage renewal processes to maintain client relationships and prevent potential revenue loss.

Cross-promoting a range of Group offerings, including Liabilities, foreign exchange services, Account Opening, Trade Finance, and Stock Trading, serves as a key responsibility.

Foster strong collaborative relationships with multiple departments across the organization, engaging directly with Branch Managers, Relationship Managers, and Credit Analysts to cultivate insurance business and generate valuable customer leads.

Promptly address customer inquiries in strict adherence to established policies and procedures.

Champion comprehensive insurance product training initiatives across regional branches, ensuring both staff and customers gain a thorough understanding of insurance offerings.

Ensure adherence to all regulatory mandates and internal policies governing insurance sales activities.

All collateral and assets securing the financiers’ interest must be maintained under comprehensive insurance coverage, with explicit documentation of the financiers’ interest in each case.

Maintain a proactive approach to managing debt levels, ensuring they remain minimal and aligned with the established credit policy of 40:30:30.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software, including advanced Excel and ERP systems, is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key competencies include attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.

A relevant university degree in Insurance, Marketing, or a business-related discipline is required.

The successful candidate must possess a Certificate of Proficiency as a fundamental requirement for this role.

Demonstrated success in insurance sales obtained over a minimum of two years’ professional experience.
