This six-month internship provides an immersive training program designed to cultivate advanced skills in bid and tender preparation within a technology consulting setting. Participants will collaborate closely with seasoned bid managers to gain hands-on experience and refine their expertise.
The internship aims to provide practical exposure to competitive bid preparation, tender documentation management, proposal development assistance, and the comprehensive execution of IT solution delivery frameworks. Upon completion of the program, interns will gain the skills necessary to actively participate in full bid cycles and make meaningful contributions to tendering and proposal development initiatives within ICT projects.
Overseeing a team responsible for financial reporting and analysis, this role involves direct supervision of a group of analysts, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. The position requires close collaboration with senior leadership to align reporting with organizational goals and compliance standards. Additionally, the individual will mentor team members, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance standards across the department.
The incumbent will report directly to the designated Bid/Tender Manager, who will serve as the intern’s supervisor and mentor throughout the duration of the program.
Duration
The internship has a duration of six months.
During the initial three-month period, interns will participate in comprehensive training focusing on bid preparation, proposal composition, compliance with tender requirements, and adherence to documentation standards. Continuous evaluations will be conducted to assess interns’ comprehension of bid processes and their ability to develop proposals effectively.
For the final three months, you will engage directly in live tender and proposal projects, receiving guidance from the Bid Manager throughout the process.
High-performing interns may be offered permanent roles at Green Com as Bid & Tender Assistants or Pre-Sales Support Officers upon successful completion of their internship.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing core operational, strategic, and administrative functions to ensure organizational efficiency and goal attainment. Develop, implement, and monitor actionable plans aligned with company objectives while maintaining rigorous adherence to established policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to drive project execution, foster innovation, and optimize resource allocation for maximum productivity and impact. Lead and mentor teams by delegating responsibilities, providing constructive feedback, and cultivating a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and continuous improvement.
Prepare tender documents, proposals, and pre-qualification responses, along with compiling supporting documentation.
Work closely with bid managers, project teams, and associate consultants to compile essential technical, financial, and administrative details required for tender submissions.
Attend all pre-bid meetings and evaluations associated with tendering processes, proposal development, and compliance documentation.
Ensure that all bid content is accurate, complete, and fully compliant with the specified client requirements and tender specifications.
Collaborate in the preparation and refinement of comprehensive technical and financial schedules under professional guidance.
Acquire a comprehensive grasp of Green Com’s business solutions, services, and value propositions to effectively contribute to proposal development.
Engage in internal innovation initiatives focused on enhancing the effectiveness and quality of bidding processes.
Execute any supplementary assignments delegated as part of ongoing tender and pre-sales initiatives.
