Position Overview
The Resort Supervisor oversees all aspects of daily operations, including guest services, food & beverage, and recreational facilities. This position is responsible for fostering seamless collaboration between departments, upholding stringent service standards, and guaranteeing outstanding guest experiences.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to drive organizational success, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency, productivity, and accountability across departments. Foster a collaborative work environment by mentoring staff, resolving conflicts, and promoting professional growth through targeted training and development initiatives. Monitor departmental KPIs to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a liaison between senior management and frontline employees to facilitate clear communication and streamline decision-making processes.
Supervise front desk operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences, address any concerns promptly, and ensure personalized service throughout each interaction.
Provide visionary leadership to personnel by guiding, inspiring, and cultivating high performance, while organizing and assigning work schedules and delivering comprehensive training programs to elevate team capabilities.
Operations oversight includes ensuring consistent monitoring, conducting regular maintenance, and overseeing food service operations to uphold established quality standards.
Assist with financial oversight by contributing to budget development, monitoring expenditures, and enhancing the efficiency of resource distribution.
Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards to maintain a secure and legally sound operational environment.
Provide assistance in the organization and implementation of special events, conferences, and recreational activities.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills. Candidates should demonstrate experience with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and database management systems like SQL or NoSQL is also required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to convey technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a closely related discipline is required.
2–5 years of leadership experience within hospitality or resort management settings is required.
Exceptional leadership capabilities, outstanding communication proficiencies, and adept problem-solving expertise.
Proficiency in property management systems and hospitality software is required.
Must be available to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
