To ensure the effective execution and continuous improvement of the position, the role is designed to achieve strategic objectives while maintaining operational excellence. To devise and execute a forward-thinking, results-driven learning strategy and curriculum that strengthens both organizational and individual competencies across global and local teams, ensuring every employee possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve outstanding performance. Principal Accountabilities

Develop and maintain a dynamic learning and development strategy, comprehensive frameworks, and tailored curricula—spanning leadership, mandatory management training, personal effectiveness, and other key organizational capability areas. Ensure these programs are adaptable, scalable, and designed to enhance organizational performance and capability across the business.

Develop and execute a comprehensive Global Leadership and Management Curriculum designed to enhance SCI Leadership and Management competencies.

Partners with People Partners, the Head of Talent, and other key stakeholders to evaluate organizational learning requirements, develop detailed learning strategies, design targeted interventions, and oversee the successful implementation of exceptional development programs.

Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment by embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into every aspect of training materials and instructional approaches.

Assess the impact of learning interventions by consistently collecting feedback, tracking progress, and compiling reports to foster ongoing enhancement and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Champion the advancement of cultural competence throughout the organization by fostering awareness, appreciation, and respect for diverse cultural viewpoints across all educational programs and initiatives.

Forging strategic alliances is essential to secure funding and maximize the impact of pertinent learning resources to Save the Children.

Oversee the Learning and Development budget and contribute to global funding decisions for L’D initiatives.

Coaches and cultivates the skills of the Learning and Leadership Team and the wider learning and development community.
