Job purpose
To prioritize in-store visits aimed at enhancing retailer awareness and improving SIMs and Float performance, ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.
Oversee daily operations to ensure the seamless execution of key functions, optimizing overall efficiency and productivity within the team. Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing performance metrics and aligning with organizational goals. Serve as a primary liaison between senior leadership and operational staff, facilitating clear communication and fostering collaboration across departments. Monitor progress toward established targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed. Lead cross-functional projects, coordinating resources and stakeholders to deliver results in a timely and cost-effective manner. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional development and a culture of continuous learning. Uphold compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity. Analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making, ensuring transparency and accountability at all levels.
Effectively oversee the identification, recruitment, and mapping of Agents, focusing on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores to maximize coverage and accessibility.
Regularly conduct visits to SOS and agents by adhering to the established route plans (beat plans).
Provide essential transaction tools for SOS and agent outlets, ensuring all necessary resources are available. Conduct training sessions for SOS and Trash Agents to familiarize them with operational processes and procedures.
Conduct comprehensive AML training sessions and evaluate agents’ proficiency in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols. Additionally, provide specialized training for Senior Sales Officers (SOS) on the Know Your Customer (KYC) process as it pertains to SIM REG compliance.
Float and stock cover and sales – oversee and rigorously apply the 1.5x stock rule for agents while confirming that SOS maintain sufficient SIM stock for new registrations and activations.
Develop and uphold merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SOS and Agent outlets.

A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
Experience
Requiring a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in sales and distribution within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or telecommunications sectors.
