Process accounting transactions using the documentation provided via established workflows.
Ensure all financial documents are booked promptly and precisely.
Ensure all necessary supporting documentation is readily available to facilitate processing activities.
Collaborate with finance colleagues in Country Offices to address processing discrepancies and expedite resolution on pending items.
Conduct comprehensive account reconciliation procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records.
Ensure accurate electronic filing and documentation of all accounting records are maintained meticulously.
Adapt seamlessly to evolving operational conditions by incorporating innovative processes and assuming expanded responsibilities as new activities are systematically integrated into the Hub.
Facilitate adherence to established internal controls, operational procedures, and regulatory audit mandates to ensure organizational integrity and operational excellence.
Contribute to the seamless operation of the Hub by collaborating effectively with team members and proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Your profile
A candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) finalist possessing a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in progressive roles.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience within an international nongovernmental organization and a solid grasp of international donor regulations.
Audit experience is beneficial, though not mandatory.
Demonstrates proficiency in core accounting functions, such as maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, managing accounts payable, and reconciling balance sheets.
Proficient in leveraging advanced functionalities within MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
