Financial accounting and treasury functions encompass the comprehensive recording, analysis, and reporting of an organization’s financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing stakeholders with transparent financial insights. Treasury operations involve managing liquidity, investments, and risk to optimize cash flow and support strategic financial objectives. The finance team receives diligent support in organizing, filing, and archiving financial documents to ensure their secure preservation and efficient retrieval when needed.

Compiles the General Ledger and Cash Offline Spreadsheets (PLACES), maintaining precise alignment of charge codes.

Assists in executing the monthly bank reconciliation process to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Compiles and submits monthly payroll statutory deductions to the relevant regulatory bodies.

Compiles the General Ledger and offline Cash Spreadsheet in preparation for entry into the financial system.

Finance documents must be promptly archived in the Document Management System (DMS) to ensure compliance and accessibility. Timely backup procedures are essential to maintain data integrity and facilitate efficient record retrieval.

Conducts weekly reconciliations of individual accounts or balance sheet accounts, compiling schedules for submission to the Finance Officer for review.

Compiles adjusting and reallocation entries with precision for accurate financial reporting.

Collaborates closely with teams to ensure adherence to audit requirements and facilitates the smooth execution of audit processes.

Ensures strict adherence to SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) rules and regulations in all operational activities and daily responsibilities.

Performs additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

Others

Uploading manual payments into Pro-Save and verifying their approval for disbursement constitutes a key responsibility.

Assist in the meticulous organization and preservation of financial supporting documents to ensure proper archiving.
