We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team, requiring a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, complemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in this industry. Must have:

Holds a registered PhD candidature in a specialized field from an accredited academic institution.

A recognized academic institution must confer a Master’s Degree in a specialized field relevant to the position.

Registration by relevant professional body.

Three years of teaching experience at the university level is required.

Key responsibilities also include

Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Academic & Research Affairs, this position provides strategic support in overseeing academic programs, research initiatives, and institutional partnerships. The role involves collaborating closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with institutional goals, managing cross-functional teams, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders. Additionally, the position contributes to policy development, compliance monitoring, and the implementation of best practices to enhance academic excellence and research productivity.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of responsibilities aligned with the role’s core objectives, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. Facilitate seamless collaboration across teams to achieve project milestones, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all deliverables. Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, propose strategic improvements, and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and communication materials to support decision-making and regulatory compliance. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative work environment. Ensure all activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety guidelines.

Assist with the creation and evaluation of educational curricula.

Develop a comprehensive course outline to ensure the syllabus is delivered and covered effectively.

Craft instructional materials that comprehensively address the entire course curriculum to ensure learners acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.

Deliver instruction for undergraduate, diploma, and certificate programs.

Administer and oversee examinations to evaluate students’ comprehension of course material, while providing the Department with ongoing progress reports.

Oversee student projects and actively participate in defense meetings to facilitate the successful completion of their academic requirements.

Conduct comprehensive research initiatives, develop and publish scholarly works, and actively engage in academic conferences to share and promote the generated knowledge.

Secure external funding opportunities to bolster the University’s research initiatives and capabilities.

Facilitate field studies and evaluate student performance during practical attachments, excursions, and internships.

Attend and actively contribute to official meetings and events hosted by the University.

Oversee class attendance records to verify that students have attended a minimum of four-fifths of all lectures, a prerequisite for eligibility to sit for examinations.

Perform a variety of administrative tasks and other assigned duties and responsibilities on an ongoing basis.
