Job Description

The Banquet Kitchen must operate smoothly each day, and you will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to manage all aspects of its operations.

The Banquet Kitchen is responsible for developing innovative concepts, designing and implementing new menus, and establishing standardized recipes. This role includes procuring supplies, maintaining stringent food cost controls, and upholding high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene for both products and equipment.

Responsible for managing kitchen resources, implementing controls, and providing training and development for Banquet kitchen staff, including coaching, daily operations, and maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

Collaborate closely with the Culinary team to uphold food quality standards, streamline food preparation processes, ensure timely catering service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency.

Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while actively supporting colleagues.

Ensure all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served in strict compliance with hotel and food safety regulations. Verify that all ENSURE standards and protocols are executed daily, including the completion of temperature logs, proper labeling and dating of items, and thorough cleaning of food storage areas.

Demonstrate strong judgment and perceptiveness in identifying and addressing the needs of team members, management, colleagues, and guests. Proactively engage with fellow team members, seeking feedback on their guest experiences, and take ownership in ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

Empowered to oversee morning and evening operations, you will address and manage feedback from external guests, the Sales department, and the Food & Beverage service team.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, supplemented by at least three years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting, or auditing. Excellent analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel capabilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are required. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, conducting variance analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and presenting insights to management to support strategic decision-making.

With a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a banquet chef role or an equivalent position, candidates are expected to meet this foundational requirement.

The curriculum covers advanced culinary techniques and comprehensive professional training in the culinary arts.

Proficiency in diverse culinary techniques, ingredients, equipment, and operational procedures is essential. A deep passion for the culinary arts, coupled with a commitment to crafting innovative and delectable dishes, is required, along with the drive to assemble and lead a skilled and cohesive professional team.
