Job Description

The Banquet Kitchen must operate seamlessly each day, with close collaboration with the Executive Chef to oversee all management responsibilities within the department.

The Banquet Kitchen team is tasked with innovating new concepts, designing and implementing fresh menus, and establishing standardized recipes. This role involves procuring ingredients, maintaining stringent control over food costs, and upholding uncompromising standards for quality, consistency, and hygiene across all products and equipment.

Oversee the management and allocation of kitchen resources, enforce operational controls, and provide training and development for Banquet kitchen staff, including mentoring, daily operations, and ensuring the efficiency of Kitchen Operations within the department.

Collaborate closely with the Culinary team to uphold exceptional food quality, ensure precise food preparation, maintain timely catering service delivery, and optimize operational efficiency.

You are expected to deliver consistently professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while actively collaborating with and supporting your colleagues at all times.

Ensure adherence to hotel and food safety guidelines in the handling, storage, preparation, and service of all food products. Complete all ENSURE standards and processes daily, including but not limited to recording temperature logs, properly labeling and dating items, and maintaining the cleanliness of food storage areas.

Demonstrate strong judgment and intuition to proactively identify and address the needs of team members, managers, colleagues, and guests. Act with initiative by fostering connections with peers, seeking feedback on their guest experiences, and guaranteeing a consistently high level of guest satisfaction.

Lead morning and evening operations with confidence, while proactively managing feedback from external guests, the Sales team, and the Food & Beverage service staff.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline) required, though equivalent practical experience may be considered. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in [industry/role-specific area], with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity. Proficiency in [specific software/tools] and strong problem-solving abilities are essential. Demonstrated expertise in [key skill/area], along with excellent communication and team collaboration skills, are required. Ability to work in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities is a must. Familiarity with [relevant frameworks/standards] is preferred.
