Deliver technical assistance for hospital electrical systems and equipment as assigned, encompassing both routine and emergency maintenance tasks.
Record all electrical operations and test outcomes in strict adherence to established departmental procedures and protocols.
Respond immediately to Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) requests from user departments, adhering strictly to established policies.
Ensure the timely execution of all Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks for electrical systems and associated equipment.
Act as an intermediary between user departments and maintenance teams, ensuring seamless communication while promptly notifying your supervisor of any arising issues.
Perform recurring tasks and obligations associated with the position on a regular basis.
Coordinate and/or lead initiatives for special projects, including the acquisition and purchase planning of new systems and equipment, as well as the development of bid specifications.
Draft, in collaboration with the electrical supervisor, comprehensive Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines to ensure adherence to established protocols and enhance operational reliability.
Develop and deliver comprehensive safety protocols and specialized in-service training programs for technicians and equipment operators, as required.
Conduct incident investigations and analyze system and equipment performance as necessary.
Create, revise, or evaluate emergency and safety protocols governing the use and operation of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with established standards and mitigate potential hazards.
