Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in software development or a comparable role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum. Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Holders of a degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or Statistics are encouraged to apply.

With a minimum of five years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), including at least three years in a senior or leadership capacity within M&E roles, candidates should demonstrate a strong background in the field.

Professional experience in non-profit or NGO program operations within a field-based context, ideally in Kenya, is required.

Demonstrates a strong capability in overseeing monitoring and evaluation initiatives, with expertise in developing and optimizing data collection and measurement frameworks.

Skilled at assisting program teams in leveraging data for continuous improvement, strategic decision-making, program optimization, and donor reporting requirements.

Proven expertise in utilizing data analysis tools, including but not limited to SPSS, STATE, Excel, Power BI, or comparable software solutions, is required.

Proficiency in mobile data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox, OK, Comm Care, or comparable systems is required.

Proficient in qualitative methodologies, with expertise in conducting insightful interviews, crafting compelling narratives, and interpreting underlying contextual factors beyond quantitative metrics.

Accomplished ability to craft clear, concise reports and demonstrate superior communication proficiency are essential for this role.
