The position

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Lead will play a key role in advancing ISBN’s strategic growth objectives by broadening market presence, increasing enrollment rates, and cultivating high-value partnerships across our market-driven programs.

Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks and obligations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards. Maintain responsibility for key functions, including routine oversight, strategic implementation, and adherence to established protocols. Demonstrate proficiency in managing diverse responsibilities while fostering collaboration across teams to optimize productivity and efficiency. Ensure all actions comply with relevant policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to uphold organizational integrity and performance standards.

We seek an accomplished Sales professional with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and cultivating strong client relationships to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs. Additionally, the role requires maintaining detailed records of sales activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying abreast of industry trends to adapt strategies effectively. A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a sales capacity. Strong proficiency in CRM software and exceptional communication abilities are essential for success in this position.

Work alongside the Head of Business Development to identify and expand new accounts within entrepreneurial groups, driving progress toward the company’s sales objectives.

Proactively manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial prospect identification to final deal closure, ensuring seamless progression and consistent revenue generation throughout the process.

We foster and sustain strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with our clients, ensuring their needs are consistently met and their expectations exceeded. This role requires a proactive approach to understanding client objectives, addressing concerns promptly, and delivering tailored solutions that drive long-term satisfaction and loyalty. While prior experience in client-facing roles is beneficial, a strong commitment to relationship-building and exceptional service can compensate for a lack of direct industry experience. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate client needs are essential to success in this position.

Program management and support encompass the oversight and facilitation of project initiatives to ensure timely execution, alignment with strategic objectives, and adherence to established standards. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and mitigating risks to drive successful project delivery. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, monitoring progress, and reporting on key performance indicators to stakeholders. Additionally, the position requires strong communication skills to bridge gaps between technical teams and business leaders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Assist the Head of Business Development in the organization and execution of the ISBN Short Programs.

Partner with the Head of Business Development to strategize and oversee the primary entrepreneur and sales initiatives of ISBN.

Perform additional responsibilities as directed by ISBN management when necessary.

The ideal candidate must possess strong academic credentials and relevant professional experience. A degree in a related field is essential, complemented by specialized training or certifications where applicable. Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable, demonstrating proficiency in key responsibilities. Additionally, familiarity with industry standards and best practices is required to ensure compliance and operational excellence. The position demands a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to evolving professional demands.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related discipline is required.

Minimum three years of proven experience in business development, partnership management, or commercial functions, preferably within training, consulting, or entrepreneurship development environments.

Achieved consistent success by either meeting or surpassing established revenue, sales, or enrollment targets.

Experienced in cultivating meaningful partnerships, facilitating productive negotiations, and adeptly managing relationships with key stakeholders.
