Job Summary:
We are a real estate development firm seeking a Content Creator to oversee comprehensive video production, encompassing filming, editing, publishing, and performance analysis. This position involves managing two primary content streams: externally focused material for our developments across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn, as well as internally oriented content including safety training, operational updates, and internal communications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate agility, strong organizational skills, independence, and expertise in social media trends, with a keen interest in monitoring and optimizing content performance post-launch.
What You’ll Do:
Craft engaging, platform-optimized content tailored for social media channels, including concise vertical videos for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, as well as behind-the-scenes footage, lifestyle features, neighborhood highlights, construction updates, and launch-specific campaign materials.
Create high-quality property and development films on an occasional basis—with three current developments, these flagship tour and campaign videos are produced in lower quantities but maintain exceptional standards. Expect approximately three to four such projects each quarter, frequently linked to launches or key milestones.
Develop engaging internal video content, including health and safety tutorials, site induction programs, training modules, internal announcements, and team communications, ensuring clarity, appropriate pacing, and accessibility for all viewers.
Own the entire production workflow from planning through publication, including filming, editing, captioning, and finalizing content. You will independently determine the subjects and angles for your shoots without requiring guidance on where to direct the camera.
Monitor performance metrics meticulously and refine content accordingly. Upon identifying subpar video performance, swiftly diagnose the root cause—whether it stems from an ineffective hook, mismatched format, poor audio quality, or an unappealing thumbnail—and produce an improved version without delay. Take the initiative to detect declining engagement independently; no prompting is necessary.
Tailor content to align with the unique preferences of each platform—TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Facebook—since each reward distinct engagement drivers. Adjust content length, format, and style accordingly to maximize performance across these channels.
Monitor social media platforms consistently to identify emerging trends and introduce innovative formats, engaging hooks, and compelling audio content to the team ahead of time.
Develop and oversee our content library, systematically expanding it with every production—including b-roll, establishing shots, lifestyle footage, drone footage, and interior shots. Ensure each asset is meticulously logged, tagged, and organized for instant retrieval, enabling efficient reuse within minutes rather than hours.
Oversee your individual pipeline in Trello, ensuring daily updates to cards, maintaining an organized shooting schedule, identifying blockers proactively, and guaranteeing no task remains unattended.
Maintain prompt and effective communication via email and Trello, ensuring responses are provided within the same day during standard business hours.
Expectations include producing high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed established benchmarks, adhering to project timelines, and maintaining precision in all tasks. This involves demonstrating proficiency in relevant tools and methodologies, ensuring consistency across outputs, and aligning work with organizational standards. Additionally, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for fulfilling role requirements effectively.
This position is centered on delivery efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will reliably achieve the following metrics:
Produce and publish six to eight short-form social media videos weekly for our development channels, ensuring timely delivery of time-sensitive content on the same day or the following day.
Internal videos covering health and safety, training, and communications must be completed on a same-week turnaround basis, with an average of 2–4 produced monthly based on evolving business requirements.
Flagship development films are produced on a campaign basis, characterized by a lower frequency but significantly higher production value, and meticulously planned in advance.
Iteration cycles entail identifying underperforming videos, recutting them, and reloading the revised versions within a 48-hour window following their initial release.
Must-Haves:
Fluency in native social media usage is essential, as you regularly engage with platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Additionally, you possess the ability to identify three trending videos within the past week and articulate the reasons behind their popularity.
You possess a performance-driven mindset, closely monitoring the analytics of your work. Upon identifying underperformance, your immediate response is to analyze and refine rather than shifting focus to a new project.
Self-starters thrive in dynamic environments, effortlessly navigating new locations—whether a construction site, model home, or corporate office—without prior briefings to capture compelling visuals. Equipped with an innate understanding of framing and perspective, you require no predefined shot list to deliver impactful imagery.
You demonstrate adaptability across different communication styles, effortlessly crafting engaging TikTok hooks while also creating concise, informative health and safety videos that resonate with on-site teams, ensuring the content is both compelling and practical.
You prioritize efficiency and precision in your editing work, ensuring polished deliverables are consistently produced and delivered without delay. As a meticulous editor, your commitment to excellence drives each project to completion with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
You must possess a keen eye for property and lifestyle aesthetics—or the capacity to cultivate one swiftly. Insightfully recognizing what appeals to buyers—such as brightness, spaciousness, seamless flow, desirable lifestyle elements, and attractive neighborhoods—is essential.
You demonstrate exceptional systems discipline by effectively utilizing Trello (or a comparable tool), ensuring prompt responses to emails within four business hours, and maintaining consistent communication throughout any project brief.
Own equipment or familiarity with provided gear is essential. Proficiency with cameras, gimbals, drones (a plus), lighting setups, audio equipment, and editing software—such as Premiere, Cap Cut, or da Vinci—is required.
Show us your portfolio, including reels, social videos, and brand or corporate work—we’re interested in tangible projects you’ve completed rather than theoretical concepts.
Nice-to-Haves:
Obtaining a valid drone license and possessing prior experience in capturing aerial footage are essential prerequisites for this role.
Prior experience in content creation related to real estate, property development, architectural design, interior design, or construction is required.
Skilled in creating corporate, training, or health and safety content tailored for internal stakeholders, with a focus on clarity and engagement.
Motion graphics expertise, foundational color grading capabilities, or sound design proficiency.
Proven talent for crafting compelling captions and attention-grabbing hooks with precision and creativity.
Our evaluation process will assess your qualifications based on the following criteria to ensure alignment with our organizational needs.
As part of the interview process, candidates who have been shortlisted will be required to undertake the following tasks:
Edit a short video segment—approximately 10 minutes of raw footage—into a polished, 45-second Reel, to be completed and delivered within a 24-hour timeframe.
Conduct a performance review by analyzing one of your videos that failed to meet expectations—identify the key factors that contributed to its underperformance and propose revisions to improve its impact during a recut.
For next week’s developments, prepare a trend pitch by selecting one emerging format and articulating its compelling hook to captivate our audience.
