This role serves as the foundational entry and development position within the cadre. An incumbent at this level will perform duties under the mentorship and oversight of a more experienced officer.
Headquarters for the County is situated in a central location, providing strategic oversight and operational coordination for all county-wide initiatives and services.
This role encompasses a broad spectrum of administrative and operational responsibilities, including performing general office management tasks, enforcing county regulations, and safeguarding government property, assets, facilities, and inventory. Additionally, the position involves coordinating the maintenance of infrastructure and facilities, managing transportation services, and planning and coordinating office accommodations. The incumbent will also oversee the procurement, development, and updating of office equipment and furniture, as well as the organization of meetings, conferences, and other special events. Furthermore, the role requires supervising the routine upkeep of buildings and furniture to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with standards.
Field Administration: Oversees on-site operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements across various locations. Manages field teams, coordinates logistics, and resolves operational challenges to maintain seamless workflows. Conducts site assessments, monitors performance metrics, and implements corrective actions as needed. Requires proficiency in field operations, leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant experience in field management.
The officer will report to and receive direction from a senior officer while performing duties that include building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, addressing public inquiries and concerns, and monitoring and assessing community projects. Additional responsibilities involve coordinating local resource mobilization, encouraging community engagement in development initiatives, ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety standards, and fostering ethical practices and good governance principles. The role also includes compiling and analyzing data on developmental activities, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to organize public participation forums.
