The monthly salary ranges from KSS. 34,420 to Kshs. 46,120, structured progressively as follows: KSS. 34,420 (1,300 hours), Kshs. 35,720 (1,380 hours), Kshs. 37,100 (1,390 hours), Kshs. 38,490 (1,460 hours), Kshs. 39,950 (1,470 hours), Kshs. 41,420 (1,470 hours), Kshs. 42,890 (1,520 hours), Kshs. 44,410 (1,710 hours), and Kshs. 46,120.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role encompasses strategic planning, process optimization, and stakeholder coordination to drive efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, allocating resources effectively, and implementing best practices to achieve departmental and company-wide goals. Additionally, the position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to adapt to evolving business demands while maintaining high performance standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to compliance protocols, and proactive problem-solving are essential components of this dynamic position.

This position serves as the initial and developmental stage within this professional group. An individual in this role will operate under the oversight and mentorship of an experienced officer.

County Headquarters: The primary operational hub for the organization, serving as the central administrative and logistical center for all county-wide initiatives and services.

This role encompasses a comprehensive range of administrative and operational responsibilities, including the execution of general administrative tasks, the coordination of county law enforcement efforts, and the safeguarding of government property, assets, facilities, and inventory. Additionally, the position requires the facilitation of infrastructure and facility maintenance, the oversight of transport management systems, and the strategic planning and coordination of office accommodations. Responsibilities also extend to the management and modernization of office equipment and furniture, the organization and facilitation of meetings, conferences, and special events, and the supervision of building and furniture maintenance activities.

Field administration encompasses the oversight and management of operational activities conducted outside the primary office environment, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and project objectives. This role involves coordinating field teams, monitoring performance metrics, and resolving on-site challenges to maintain productivity and compliance. Additionally, it requires regular reporting to senior leadership, maintaining accurate documentation, and fostering effective communication between field personnel and corporate stakeholders. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of field operations are essential for success in this position.

The incumbent will report to a senior officer, receiving guidance and oversight as required. Key responsibilities include cultivating partnerships and connections with pertinent stakeholders, addressing public inquiries and concerns, and tracking the progress of community initiatives. Additionally, the officer will be tasked with coordinating local resource mobilization, encouraging community involvement in developmental programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Upholding ethical standards and principles of good governance will also form part of the role, alongside compiling and analyzing data related to developmental efforts. Furthermore, the officer will coordinate with relevant stakeholders to arrange public participation forums for citizens.

Requirements:

An officer seeking appointment to this grade must meet the following criteria:

A bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development, or any other relevant Social Science discipline from an accredited institution is required.

A diploma or certification in computer applications is required.
