We are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee daily operations, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and in compliance with established protocols. The role involves managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and addressing any operational challenges that arise. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing detailed reports, and facilitating clear communication between departments to drive productivity and accountability. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving, is required. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate leadership qualities and a commitment to continuous improvement in operational processes.

Assist in maintaining adherence to all relevant regulations across business and support functions by performing ongoing monitoring and periodic assessments to ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, internal policies, procedures, documentation, and controls.

Facilitate the identification, evaluation, mitigation, and enforcement of compliance risks to safeguard organizational integrity and adherence to regulatory standards.

Support the detection of potentially illicit transactions and ensure their prompt escalation to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer, strictly adhering to protocols that prevent any disclosure of such actions.

Review and assist in maintaining company processes, operational manuals, and systems to confirm they remain current and compliant with established regulations, policies, mandates, escalation protocols, and control measures.

Assist in pinpointing compliance deficiencies and propose corrective actions in collaboration with the assistant manager of risk and compliance.

Initiate and sustain follow-up communications with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the Compliance Gap Analysis/Tracker is finalized and closed.

Duties may also include other tasks as assigned, which may change periodically.

Dynamic Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively collaborate across teams and stakeholders. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a track record of delivering measurable results in previous positions.

A minimum of a Second Class Upper Degree in a finance-related discipline, a Bachelor of Laws, or a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.

Acquiring a comprehensive grasp of pertinent laws and regulations within the sector is essential. Maintaining current awareness of legislative updates and evolving compliance standards is equally important to ensure adherence and operational integrity.

Analytical Skills: Capable of evaluating intricate data to pinpoint compliance-related concerns. Performs comprehensive research to accurately interpret and implement regulatory provisions.

Demonstrates exceptional precision and meticulousness when examining documents and data. Thoroughly identifies inconsistencies and discrepancies to uphold compliance standards.

Maintains compliance documentation and records in an organized manner, ensuring efficient management of data. Prioritizes tasks strategically to consistently meet deadlines while promptly addressing compliance inquiries.

Adaptability is crucial, as you must respond effectively to evolving regulations and internal policy updates. Quick learning, and strategic adjustments are essential to maintain consistent compliance with these changes.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential.
