Role Description
This position offers a full-time, on-site opportunity as a Sales and Leasing Consultant, situated in Nairobi County, Kenya. Key duties of the Sales and Leasing Consultant include managing and executing sales strategies while overseeing lease agreements to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.
Cultivate meaningful connections with startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, corporate clients, non-governmental organizations, and professionals working remotely to foster long-term partnerships.
Develop new business opportunities by leveraging networking events, client referrals, online channels, and proactive outreach strategies.
Drive sales for coworking memberships, private offices, dedicated desks, virtual offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces to maximize revenue and occupancy rates.
Professionals will lead engaging, informative tours for potential clients, highlighting the full range of available facilities in a polished and welcoming manner.
Responsibilities include cultivating and sustaining a robust sales pipeline to drive consistent revenue growth.
Draft, finalize, and negotiate membership agreements and lease documents with precision and professionalism.
Engage potential members and clients to facilitate their transition into paying customers, fostering lasting professional relationships.
Ensure consistent attainment of monthly and quarterly occupancy and revenue goals through strategic planning and execution.
Analyze potential avenues to enhance revenue by promoting supplementary services to existing clients.
Deliver exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and maintain high retention rates.
Address member inquiries and issues in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring all concerns are handled with the highest level of professionalism.
Marketing available properties involves showcasing rental units to attract potential residents, while conducting property tours allows prospective tenants to explore the spaces firsthand. Guiding applicants through the leasing process ensures a smooth transition from their initial inquiry to the final move-in stage.
The position involves drafting and overseeing lease agreements, verifying the accuracy of lease documentation, and keeping pertinent records current within designated systems.
The consultant will address resident inquiries, provide timely resolutions, and develop strategies to improve resident retention and satisfaction.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating with property management and maintenance teams, tracking market trends, and meeting occupancy and revenue goals through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional customer service.
Assist in the execution of marketing initiatives designed to boost occupancy rates.
Engage actively in networking events, exhibitions, and professional business forums to foster connections and expand professional opportunities.
Foster collaborative relationships with business associations, chambers of commerce, and startup ecosystems to drive mutual growth and innovation.
Collect and analyze data regarding competitive products and their associated pricing strategies.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of CRM records and sales activity reports.
Monitor occupancy levels, evaluate sales outcomes, and analyze lead conversion data on an ongoing basis.
Compilation of weekly and monthly sales reports is required.
Ensure that all membership agreements and related documentation are stored and organized in compliance with established protocols.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include conducting research, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in leases, including lease terms and lease administration, and is skilled in the preparation, review, and meticulous management of lease documentation.
With a proven track record in resident retention strategies, you excel in fostering strong relationships, resolving conflicts effectively, and driving initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction and renewal rates.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and deliver exceptional customer service, adept at engaging prospects, addressing inquiries with professionalism, and addressing the varied needs of residents.
A background in sales or leasing within real estate, property management, or a closely related industry is strongly preferred.
Skilled in on-site operations, adept at balancing competing priorities, and committed to achieving leasing and occupancy targets within a dynamic work setting.
Skilled in utilizing essential office software and specialized systems such as property management or CRM platforms, with a strong aptitude for leveraging digital tools to streamline reporting and documentation processes.
A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related discipline is advantageous.
