Oversee an array of core duties and operational functions, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to established protocols. Responsible for managing daily activities, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high standards of performance across assigned projects. Monitor progress, address potential challenges proactively, and implement solutions to optimize workflow efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, allocate resources effectively, and drive project completion within defined timelines and budget constraints. Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.

Create production facilities for cookstoves and ensure their efficient operation by implementing rigorous testing, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Strengthen the supply chain for stoves and alternative fuels, with a particular focus on optimizing last-mile distribution.

Drive the adoption of clean cooking solutions by implementing behavior change campaigns, conducting community sensitization initiatives, and executing pilot demonstrations of various fuels and appliances to evaluate performance, efficiency, affordability, and user acceptance.

Provide specialized technical training to artisans, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and refugee-run businesses, covering essential topics such as design principles, production methodologies, safety protocols, efficiency testing, and clean energy solutions—including alternative fuels and eco-friendly cooking technologies.

Deliver business coaching and capacity-building services to SMEs in refugee and host communities, perform comprehensive market and consumer evaluations, pinpoint productive energy utilization opportunities, and facilitate seamless integration into enterprise business models and financing channels.

Provide technical expertise to implement Results-Based Reimbursement (RBR) mechanisms, assist in ensuring enterprise compliance, and develop systems for capturing, verifying, and reporting performance data in collaboration with the MEAL team.

Develop and execute comprehensive monitoring, evaluation, learning (MEAL) frameworks, execute socio-economic, gender, and affordability assessments through surveys, and facilitate the preparation of structured reports for GIG and donor partners.

Develop and implement digital data collection and monitoring tools, facilitate pilot initiatives in digital innovation—such as mobile payments, smart metering, and remote monitoring—and strengthen partner capabilities in data utilization and reporting.

Deliver technical assistance in environmental, gender, and social safeguards across all initiatives while ensuring adherence to relevant standards and requirements.

Document lessons learned, capture innovations, and compile best practices while developing analytical knowledge products. Conduct learning events, training sessions, and workshops to enhance program learning, foster replication, and drive scale-up initiatives.

A professional holding a university bachelor’s degree or advanced professional training in environmental and social safeguards, gender, and social inclusion, with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in environmentally friendly cooking technologies.

A professional with extensive expertise in Results-Based Reimbursement/Financing Mechanisms, backed by advanced training, and possessing over five years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing results-based financing (RBF/RBR) initiatives. This individual has a proven track record in establishing enterprise compliance frameworks and designing robust reporting systems to ensure effective operationalization of these mechanisms.
