Our client, a rapidly expanding mid-sized freight forwarding firm based in Nairobi, specializes in air and sea cargo logistics from major global hubs, including Dubai, Guangzhou, London, Milan, Johannesburg, Istanbul, and Amsterdam. They manage a substantial volume of cargo, handling 80–100 tonnes of air freight—comprising both commercial and personal shipments—on a monthly basis, as well as one 40ft container daily. With a commitment to end-to-end transparency, they oversee every stage of the process, from warehouse receipt and inventory management to seamless customs clearance and final-mile delivery.

Our client is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to take full operational responsibility, professionalize their processes and drive their next phase of growth.

Crucial duties and obligations encompass overseeing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to company standards. Additionally, the position involves conducting thorough evaluations of employee performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing targeted training programs. Responsibilities further include managing departmental budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering a collaborative work environment to drive productivity and innovation. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to achieving organizational objectives through strategic planning and execution.
