The incumbent is tasked with formulating and presenting to the Board of Directors comprehensive long-term strategic initiatives, detailed business plans, and annual operating budgets. Additionally, the role involves implementing robust internal monitoring mechanisms, control systems, and procedural frameworks to ensure organizational efficiency and accountability.
Facilitating clear and consistent communication channels between the Board and staff members is essential.
Handling all human resources functions, such as designing organizational frameworks, overseeing recruitment and staff welfare, coordinating training initiatives, managing labor relations, facilitating employee departures, and implementing robust succession planning strategies.

The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the SACCO’s financial and operational goals and objectives on an ongoing basis while preparing and submitting quarterly internal audit reports and recommendations.
Responsible for supervising and verifying the effective execution of SACCO policies and programs.
To uphold adherence to SACCO policies, regulations, and applicable government statutes, thereby ensuring full legal and organizational compliance.
Guiding the SACCO in the successful execution of its current Strategic Plan and submitting quarterly progress updates are key responsibilities of this role.
Person Profile
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting—or through a cooperative education program—is required.
A degree in management or a closely related discipline is required.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA(K)) and an esteemed member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (IC PAK).
With a minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience, including at least five years in a specialized role, you will bring a wealth of knowledge to this position. Your expertise will be essential in fulfilling the key responsibilities associated with this role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
