Deliver engaging, real-world, inquiry-based Computer Studies and P.E. lessons strictly in accordance with the Kenya curriculum standards, ensuring exceptional educational outcomes for every student.
Cultivate and sustain positive, constructive, and professional relationships with students, their families, and colleagues.
Develop lesson plans and collaborate with the Learning Design Team to review and revise lessons as needed.
Design and foster a learning space that supports academic growth, aligns with students’ developmental stages and interests, and ensures an orderly yet engaging atmosphere.
Infuse each lesson with joy and enthusiasm for learning, fostering an environment where students are genuinely excited and motivated to pursue academic excellence.
Ensure all students receive appropriate accommodations and adjustments to support their academic progress and cultural development.
Ensure students achieve proficiency in content knowledge and meet established academic standards.
Enhance instructional delivery by incorporating interactive technology into lessons.
Establish and convey demanding yet attainable academic objectives for every student while delivering constructive feedback that fosters long-term comprehension and retention of those goals.
Administer fair and consistent rewards and consequences for student conduct while consistently demonstrating the expected behavioral standards as a role model for students to follow.

Fulfill the role of Teacher on Duty and/or Boarding Teacher on Duty, while providing support for school-wide initiatives designed to address behavioral interventions.
Accurate and prompt recording of student academic data and clear communication of student progress to National Program families and other stakeholders as needed.
Assist in the development of students’ holistic growth by facilitating clubs, societies, and other essential co-curricular activities within the school environment.
Act as a homeroom teacher whenever assigned to this role.
ABOUT YOU
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Experience with web development frameworks such as Django, React, or Angular is highly desirable. Familiarity with databases including SQL and NoSQL solutions is essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Prior experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, is advantageous.
TSC certification accompanied by a Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a specialization in Computer Studies or Physical Education, is required for this position.
Requires a minimum of three years of hands-on teaching experience.
