Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on Python programming. Proficiency in cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience with DevOps practices are essential. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are critical. Strong communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also necessary.

The Interpreter must demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written language skills, ensuring accurate and culturally sensitive communication between parties. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of professional interpreting experience, preferably in a specialized field such as legal, medical, or business settings. Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to remain neutral, impartial, and unbiased during interactions are essential. Excellent listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills are required to convey messages clearly and efficiently. Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and adherence to professional ethical standards, including confidentiality, are mandatory. A valid certification in interpreting, such as those offered by the American Translators Association or equivalent, is strongly preferred.

Possesses demonstrated fluency in Kenyan Sign Language (KSL).

Skilled in delivering interpretation services for conferences, workshops, training sessions, and public events.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven capacity to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across various contexts.

Capable of collaborating productively with a wide range of youth and key stakeholders.

Dedication to fostering an inclusive environment, ensuring accessibility for all, and upholding professional integrity is essential.
