Job purpose
To prioritize on-site retail visits to enhance brand recognition and improve SIM and Float performance, ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising standards at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing a broad spectrum of strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives forward. Ensure adherence to established policies, standards, and procedural guidelines while maintaining rigorous quality control across all initiatives. Facilitate seamless communication between departments to align efforts, resolve challenges, and enhance overall productivity. Analyze performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize resource allocation. Effectively oversee the identification and recruitment of Agents, focusing on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores, while maintaining a strategic approach to mapping and expansion.
Regularly visit assigned SOS and Agents in accordance with established route plans (beat plans) to fulfill call rate requirements.
Provide all necessary transaction tools for both SSO and agent outlets while ensuring comprehensive training for SOS and Trash Agents on operational processes.
Conduct anti-money laundering (AML) training sessions and evaluate agents’ comprehension of AML protocols. Additionally, educate agents on Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures as they pertain to SIM REG compliance.
Float and stock management, along with sales oversight, require diligent monitoring and strict enforcement of the 1.5x stock rule for agents. Additionally, it is essential to guarantee that Sales Support Officers (SOS) maintain sufficient stock of SIM cards to facilitate seamless new registrations and activations.
Develop and enforce merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SOS and Agent outlets.
