This six-month internship provides an in-depth training program designed to cultivate essential skills in bid and tender preparation within the realm of technology consulting. Participants will collaborate closely with seasoned bid managers to enhance their expertise in this specialized field.
The goal is to provide interns with practical exposure to competitive bid preparation, tender documentation management, proposal development assistance, and comprehensive IT solution delivery frameworks. Upon completion of the program, interns will be equipped to support complete bid cycles and make meaningful contributions to tendering and proposal development initiatives for ICT projects.
Reporting to the designated leadership within the organization, this role is responsible for providing updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management regarding departmental performance, operational efficiency, and key initiatives. The incumbent will ensure alignment between team objectives and broader organizational goals while maintaining clear, consistent communication channels to facilitate transparency and accountability across all levels of the company.
The position is supervised by the designated Bid/Tender Manager, who will serve as both the intern’s supervisor and mentor throughout the duration of the program.
Duration
This internship is designed to last for a duration of six months.
For the initial three-month period, interns will receive comprehensive training in bid preparation, proposal writing, and adherence to tender compliance requirements and documentation standards. Throughout this phase, they will participate in ongoing evaluations to assess their grasp of bid processes and the development of effective proposals.
For the final three months, you will actively engage in live tenders and proposal tasks, working closely with the Bid Manager to gain hands-on experience.
Highly successful interns may be offered permanent positions at Green Com as Bid & Tender Assistants or Pre-Sales Support Officers.

Prepare tender documentation, proposals, and pre-qualification submissions, along with associated supporting materials, with precision and attention to detail.
Work closely with bid managers, project teams, and associate consultants to compile essential technical, financial, and administrative details required for tender submissions.
Attend all pre-bid meetings and evaluations associated with tendering, proposal development, and compliance documentation.
Guarantee that all bid documentation is meticulously prepared, fully comprehensive, and strictly aligned with both client expectations and tender specifications.
Assist in the creation and refinement of technical and financial schedules under the guidance of senior team members.
Develop a comprehensive grasp of Green Com’s business solutions, offerings, and key value propositions to effectively contribute to proposal development.
Contribute to in-house innovation initiatives designed to enhance both the efficiency and quality of the bidding process.
Handle any additional responsibilities assigned as part of ongoing tender and pre-sales initiatives.
