This position is a full-time, site-based role for a Student Admission Officer situated in Nairobi. The incumbent will support prospective students throughout the admissions journey by addressing their queries, delivering comprehensive program details, and facilitating campus tours or information sessions.

The position encompasses evaluating applications, validating documentation, and collaborating with academic and administrative departments to facilitate prompt admission decisions. The incumbent will ensure precise documentation of leads and applicants, conduct follow-ups with prospective students, and assist with domestic and international recruitment initiatives.

The role encompasses involvement in outreach initiatives, educational expos, and campus tours, with a strong emphasis on delivering a courteous and professional experience for every candidate and their family members.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics, is required. A minimum of five years of professional experience in a related role is necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this position. Proficiency in data analysis, programming languages, or industry-specific tools is also required. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are expected. Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.

Proven ability to establish meaningful connections with prospective students, parents, and internal stakeholders through exceptional interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in international admissions procedures and cross-cultural interaction is preferred or has been demonstrated in prior roles.

Exceptional proficiency in both spoken and written communication is essential for delivering presentations, conducting consultations, and maintaining follow-up correspondence.

Demonstrates strong customer service capabilities, emphasizing timely responses, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to meeting the needs of students.

Demonstrates a solid background or profound interest in the education sector, with a specific focus on student recruitment.

A bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, or a related discipline—along with comparable practical experience—is required.

Must be fully available for on-site work in Nairobi on a full-time basis, capable of multitasking and effectively balancing a range of responsibilities, and adept at meeting established admissions’ deadlines.

Experience with fundamental office software and student information systems or CRM platforms is required, while prior involvement in admissions or counseling roles is highly beneficial.
