The monthly salary ranges from KSS. 34,420 x 1,300 to Kshs. 35,720 x 1,380, Kshs. 37,100 x 1,390, Kshs. 38,490 x 1,460, Kshs. 39,950 x 1,470, Kshs. 41,420 x 1,470, Kshs. 42,890 x 1,520, Kshs. 44,410 x 1,710, and culminates at KSS. 46,120.

Oversee and manage a diverse array of tasks to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for coordinating projects, delegating responsibilities, and maintaining clear communication channels with stakeholders. Develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational objectives while monitoring progress and performance metrics. Facilitate team collaboration, foster a productive work environment, and address any challenges that may arise. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. Conduct regular evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed.

This position serves as the introductory and developmental stage within this professional framework. An individual in this role will perform duties under the mentorship and oversight of an experienced officer.

County Headquarters serves as the central administrative hub for the entire county, overseeing a wide range of governmental functions and services. This role requires a strategic leader capable of managing complex operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering collaboration across departments. Responsibilities include policy implementation, resource allocation, strategic planning, and maintaining fiscal responsibility. The position demands strong communication skills, a deep understanding of public administration, and the ability to navigate interdepartmental relationships. Additionally, the role involves representing the county in external engagements, advocating for community needs, and driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

At this level, responsibilities will include performing general administrative tasks, managing the enforcement of county laws, and safeguarding county government property, assets, facilities, and inventory. Additionally, the role will involve facilitating the maintenance of infrastructure and facilities, overseeing transport management, and planning and coordinating office accommodations. The position will also require managing the development and updates of office equipment and furniture, as well as facilitating meetings, conferences, and other special events. Oversight of the general maintenance of buildings and furniture will be a key component of this role.

Field Administration: Oversees and manages on-site operations to ensure seamless execution of field activities, including scheduling, coordination with local teams, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Responsible for supervising field personnel, monitoring performance metrics, and addressing any operational challenges to maintain efficiency and productivity. Serves as the primary liaison between field teams and corporate headquarters, facilitating clear communication and alignment with organizational objectives.

The officer will report to and be supervised by a senior officer while performing their duties. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, addressing public concerns and issues, and monitoring and assessing community projects. They will also support the mobilization of resources at the local level, encourage citizen engagement in development initiatives, and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards. Additionally, the officer will uphold ethical principles and promote good governance practices, analyze and compile data on developmental activities, and collaborate with stakeholders to organize public participation forums.

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is essential for this position. Proficiency in [specific software/tools] and at least [X] years of relevant experience are required. An individual must meet the following criteria to qualify for this grade:

A recognized institution must award a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development, or any related field within the social sciences.

Holders of a Certificate in Computer Applications demonstrate proficiency in fundamental computing skills, including word processing, spreadsheet management, database operations, and presentation creation. This credential validates the ability to effectively utilize essential software tools for professional and academic tasks, ensuring competence in handling digital documentation, data analysis, and visual communication.
