POSITION SUMMARY

Kitchen Support Experts provide essential assistance to various hotel departments, including the kitchen, food and beverage services, and employee dining facilities. These associates collaborate across teams to address operational needs and maintain seamless workflows. Using keyboards, mice, or trackballs, they input and retrieve data from computer databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and file updates. Additionally, they operate standard office equipment beyond computers to fulfill their duties. Skilled in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software, they draft professional correspondence such as letters and memos, as well as other documents. Responsible for organizing both digital and physical filing systems, they meticulously maintain records, reports, and documents for easy retrieval. Their duties also include compiling, copying, sorting, and filing records of office activities, business transactions, and related information, while efficiently accessing work-related data through computer systems.

You are responsible for complying with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management, and completing required safety training and certifications. Maintaining a polished and professional uniform and personal appearance is essential, as is safeguarding the confidentiality of proprietary information and company assets. You will greet and acknowledge guests in accordance with company standards, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times.

Cultivating positive working relationships and collaborating effectively with the team to achieve shared objectives is a key part of this role. You must uphold quality expectations and standards consistently. The position may require prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, as well as reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. You should be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects up to 25 pounds independently. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors as needed.

We value candidates who possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of experience in a similar role, and proficiency in industry-specific software. Additionally, familiarity with project management methodologies and strong interpersonal skills are highly desirable. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to multitask effectively are also preferred. Candidates with a Master’s degree or relevant certifications will be given additional consideration.

Education: Applicants must possess a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a field closely related to it.

Candidates must possess a minimum of three to four years of experience in a comparable professional capacity.

Preferred candidates should have experience in a hotel or luxury service setting, with a strong preference for those who have worked in 4- or 5-star establishments.
