The Accounts Payable Support role involves verifying invoices and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy in expense processing before facilitating payments.

Maintains meticulously organized financial records, both digital and physical, to ensure swift and precise retrieval.

Provide assistance with daily, weekly, and monthly treasury operations, such as monitoring fundamental financial transactions.

Provide accounts receivable support by overseeing billing processes and coordinating with appropriate departments to facilitate prompt collections.

Maintain precise and current financial transaction records within accounting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Support the monitoring of cash flows for program funding and aid in preliminary reconciliation tasks under guidance.

Ensure accurate documentation and prompt submission of statutory deductions—including PAYE, NSF, VAT, and others—by providing compliance support under supervision.

Support the development and compilation of monthly financial reports and executive summaries.

Assist with audit preparations by systematically compiling and organizing the necessary documentation and information required for thorough audits.

Collaborate effectively with the business development team to deliver essential financial and administrative assistance.

Provide administrative and HR support by managing records efficiently and tracking employee leave to ensure organizational workflow remains seamless.

Provide general support by executing any additional tasks delegated to uphold the organization’s operational efficiency and educational goals.

Responsible for preparing payments, ensuring they are accompanied by accurate supporting invoices and documentation for all incurred expenses.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline is required for consideration.

Possesses foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Professional advancement through credentials such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ARCA), or other equivalent qualifications is highly beneficial.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, with a preference for experience in accounting systems.

Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous learning.

Reliability in achieving meticulous accuracy and a proactive approach to acquiring new skills are essential.
