We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill this critical role. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related industry. The monthly remuneration ranges from KSS. 34,420 to Kshs. 46,120, structured progressively as follows: KSS. 35,720, Kshs. 37,100, Kshs. 38,490, Kshs. 39,950, Kshs. 41,420, Kshs. 42,890, and Kshs. 44,410, with each tier multiplied by respective factors of 1,300 up to 1,710.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of assigned tasks and obligations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. This position serves as the foundational entry and development level within the organization. An individual in this role will perform duties under the direction and oversight of a more experienced officer.

Headquarters for the county is located in the central administrative hub, serving as the primary center for county operations and services. This central location ensures efficient coordination and management of county-wide initiatives, providing direct support to residents and various departments. The headquarters plays a pivotal role in implementing policies, overseeing programs, and facilitating communication between local government entities and the community. Additionally, it houses critical administrative functions, including record-keeping, financial management, and strategic planning, to uphold the county’s operational integrity and service delivery.

This role encompasses a broad spectrum of administrative and operational responsibilities, including the execution of general administrative tasks, the coordination of county law enforcement efforts, and the safeguarding of government assets, facilities, and inventory. Additionally, the position involves managing the maintenance of infrastructure and facilities, overseeing transport operations, and planning and coordinating office accommodations. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing and updating office equipment and furniture, facilitating meetings, conferences, and special events, and supervising the overall maintenance of buildings and furniture.

Field administration entails overseeing and managing operational activities across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role requires coordinating with various stakeholders, including local teams, vendors, and external partners, to facilitate seamless execution of field operations. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, resolving logistical challenges, and maintaining accurate documentation to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the position demands strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of industry-specific regulations to drive efficiency and productivity in the field.

The officer will report to and receive direction from a senior officer while performing assigned duties. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, addressing public concerns, and monitoring community projects to assess their progress. Additionally, the role involves coordinating resource mobilization at the local level, encouraging citizen involvement in development initiatives, and ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety standards. Promoting ethical practices and principles of good governance is also a core responsibility, alongside compiling and analyzing data related to developmental activities. Furthermore, the officer will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to organize public participation forums for citizens.

The role demands proficiency in both spoken and written English, along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and collaborate with stakeholders. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, complemented by a proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A recognized institution must award a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development, or any other relevant Social Science discipline.

Obtained a certification in computer applications, demonstrating proficiency in essential software tools and applications.
