Your responsibilities will include developing automations and intelligent agents for internal purposes while functioning as internal consultants, guiding Engineering teams in integrating AI into customer-facing solutions. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive project execution, monitor key performance indicators, and implement process improvements. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to mentor team members while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. You will also be responsible for reporting progress to senior management and identifying strategic opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Oversee a team of two AI Ops Engineers, ensuring seamless delivery, fostering their technical development, and managing their day-to-day tasks with precision.
Efficiently prioritize tasks by adeptly managing competing requests from various teams, employing a structured prioritization framework that you will both develop and continuously enhance.
Develop and deploy automation solutions and intelligent agents designed to deliver tangible enhancements in efficiency and productivity for both internal teams and customer-facing personnel.
Ensure the AI tooling infrastructure remains robust and efficient as utilization expands to accommodate over 2,500 employees.
To maintain expertise in the ever-evolving AI landscape, diligently track advancements in tools and technologies, discerning between fleeting trends and solutions with tangible value.
Assist in enhancing AI training initiatives across the broader organization, particularly for engineering teams.
Develop and maintain a robust technical infrastructure to support operational efficiency and innovation. Implement, configure, and oversee systems, software, and hardware components, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technical needs, recommend solutions, and deploy best practices for system integration and maintenance. Troubleshoot complex issues, perform regular audits, and stay current with emerging technologies to enhance productivity and mitigate risks. Requires expertise in [specific technologies, e.g., cloud platforms, programming languages, or network architectures] and strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient knowledge of AI and agentic frameworks is required, including but not limited to Claude, Claude Code, Anthropic tooling, Lang Chain, MCP, and Google ADK (or comparable agentic development tools).
Automation and Prototyping: Develop and implement scripting solutions, workflow tools, and AI-assisted development processes; facilitate rapid prototyping using platforms such as Tercel and Railway.
Enterprise Tooling: Automating identity management with Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD), developing and maintaining internal platforms, managing Notion for documentation and collaboration, and integrating HiBob for HR and people operations.
Twelve months have already been dedicated to implementing and maintaining production-level automations using Claude, Notion, HiBob, and Entry.

What You Need
We seek a technically proficient professional with a product-oriented mindset. This role does not involve model development, as that responsibility belongs to our dedicated Data Science teams. Instead, you will design and deploy intelligent agents, implement automation solutions, and lead a team dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and intelligence of DAKOTA’s internal operations.
Required Experience: Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a relevant field, with at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role. Prior experience in project management, team coordination, or related areas is essential. Familiarity with industry-specific tools, methodologies, or regulations is also required. Additionally, experience in budget management, strategic planning, or stakeholder engagement is preferred.
Proven expertise in developing automation solutions, including scripting, workflow tools, and AI-assisted development processes, is required.
Experienced with developing agents leveraging agentic frameworks such as Lang Chain, MCP, Google ADK, or comparable tools is required.
Background in enterprise tooling encompasses rapid prototyping solutions such as Tercel or Railway, identity automation frameworks like Entry, or proprietary internal platforms.
You possess substantial experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams, demonstrating the ability to take ownership of both project delivery and professional growth.
