Depending on location and the extent of delegated authority, a Driver at this level may perform the following duties:
Ensures the safe and secure transportation of authorized personnel via company vehicles.
Responsible for gathering and transporting mail, documents, and other materials as part of assigned duties.
Provides assistance to arriving personnel at the airport, guiding them through necessary immigration and customs procedures to ensure a smooth entry process.
Responsible for the daily maintenance of assigned vehicles, including routine checks of oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, and other critical components, while also performing minor repairs as needed. Additionally, arranges for any required professional repairs and ensures vehicles are consistently kept clean and presentable.
Accurately records official travel logs, daily mileage, fuel usage, oil changes, lubrication services, and other related maintenance activities.
Ensures all prescribed procedural steps are diligently executed in accordance with applicable rules and regulations whenever an accident occurs.
Assists in gathering and evaluating data, compiling findings into presentations and reports to facilitate information sharing, address inquiries, support knowledge management initiatives, and inform strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Supports the creation of visual representations and the maintenance of informational content, including websites and brochures.
Assumes additional responsibilities as directed, ensuring all tasks are completed in alignment with organizational objectives and operational needs.
Education
A high school diploma or its equivalent is essential for consideration.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, supplemented by a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills are essential. Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail are required, along with excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal applicant must demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.
A valid driver’s license in categories B and C is a prerequisite for this position, ensuring compliance with professional driving standards.
Work Experience
A minimum of one year of experience as a professional driver, with a demonstrated history of safe driving practices, is required.
A diverse background operating various vehicle makes and models, ranging from vans to other motorized equipment, is necessary.
Required is prior experience as a professional driver with an international entity, such as the United Nations or an equivalent organization.
Desired is hands-on experience maintaining vehicles.
