Plan International was established more than seven decades ago with a commitment to advancing and safeguarding the rights of children worldwide.
Founded in 1937 by British journalist John Langdon-Davies and refugee worker Eric Buggering, the organization initially sought to deliver essential support—including food, shelter, and education—to children whose lives were upended by the Spanish Civil War.
