Job Summary

The Department of Amato-Oncology is looking for a Tumor Board Coordinator to facilitate seamless administrative and clinical workflows by liaising with multidisciplinary teams to uphold excellence in cancer care delivery throughout the Aga Khan University Cancer Centre. This position encompasses assisting with tumor board operations, oncology governance functions, compliance with accreditation standards, quality enhancement projects, and the management of oncology data systems.

Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless functionality, managing workflows and addressing any arising challenges promptly. Implement and maintain efficient systems and procedures to enhance productivity and meet organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts and drive consistent performance. Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Develop and execute strategic plans to support long-term growth and operational excellence. Conduct regular performance reviews and offer constructive feedback to support employee development. Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate clear communication and resolve interdepartmental issues.

Deliver exceptional executive administrative management to ensure seamless and efficient departmental operations, proactively driving planning and organizational strategies forward.

Led and oversaw all Amato-Oncology and specialty Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, ensuring comprehensive coordination and leadership throughout each session.

Develop and distribute patient lists, agendas, and essential clinical records in advance of board review meetings.

Compile accurate documentation of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) discussions and promptly relay treatment decisions to relevant clinicians.

Ensuring the timely coordination of team care decisions and patient treatment plans is essential. This role involves overseeing the execution of board recommendations, facilitating referrals, and addressing any delays in patient care.

Responsible for managing logistical operations across specialized multidisciplinary breast and prostate clinics.

Coordinate governance processes to ensure compliance with Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC) and Joint Commission International Accreditation (CIA) standards.

Oversee the development, review, and maintenance of oncology governance documents, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and evidence repositories to ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory standards.

Gather, verify, and present oncology quality metrics to maintain ongoing accreditation preparedness.

Provide support in gathering and managing data for oncology clinical databases and cancer registries.

Support the execution of clinical audits, facilitate research projects, and contribute to the creation of service performance dashboards.
