SHOCK seeks a community-focused, grassroots professional to deliver critical wraparound support, ensuring Kenya’s most vulnerable girls enroll in, attend, and thrive in school. The Scholarship Coordinator will oversee and manage SHOCK’s scholarship program, driving re-enrollment efforts across five target counties while serving as on-the-ground support for scholarship recipients. This role will act as a vital liaison between SHOCK, schools, scholars, and families, fostering strong, authentic relationships to identify and comprehensively support scholarship recipients. Embedded within SHOCK’s SHOCK Urban Network (SUN) community organizing framework, the position will maintain a deeply grassroots approach to scholar identification and support.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate with SUN Committees to facilitate seamless and efficient onboarding processes for public school leadership, including principals and Bursars, while ensuring ongoing support for scholarship recipients.
Collaborate with the SUN and Gender department to identify eligible students for support.
Partner with the Scholarship Officer, SUN facilitators, and Gender team to provide mentorship and holiday programming, overseeing all logistical arrangements.
Collaborate with families to empower them in supporting students’ academic growth and emotional welfare, clarifying their vital role in the mentorship process.
Cultivate meaningful collaborations with local organizations and governmental bodies that assist at-risk girls—such as adolescent mothers—to establish and strengthen strategic alliances aimed at scholar recruitment and sustained support.
Lead the strategic direction and operational oversight of Case Management initiatives, ensuring robust Scholar welfare and wellbeing frameworks are implemented and maintained. Drive the development and execution of comprehensive programs aimed at supporting Scholar needs, while fostering an environment of holistic care and development.

Data Management & Support encompasses the oversight and maintenance of information systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of data.
