As an Associate Clinical Supply Chain Manager at VIA, you will play a pivotal role in executing the comprehensive clinical supply chain strategy for upcoming clinical trials.

This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to facilitate the timely distribution of supplies—including Investigational Medicinal Products (Imps) and Non-Investigational Medicinal Products (Pimps)—to clinical sites, while maintaining robust inventory oversight and accurate forecasting of drug demand. Your responsibilities may encompass a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to project coordination, stakeholder communication, and process optimization. Key duties could involve overseeing workflows, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. Additionally, you may be tasked with analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Demonstrates the capacity to work autonomously and with initiative, ensuring trial materials are procured and delivered punctually and accurately to designated locations.

Ensure demand forecasts and packaging plants are consistently updated to guarantee the timely availability of packed clinical supplies, in strict alignment with project specifications.

Develop and coordinate packaging initiatives in collaboration with the designated vendor, ensuring all deliverables are executed punctually.

Monitor and, as needed, revise the assigned Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems to maintain accurate and efficient management of study inventory.

Develops and manages the distribution strategy while ensuring accountability for the assigned vendor(s) in executing the plan.

Conduct continuous budget monitoring to ensure projects operate efficiently and remain aligned with client-approved quotations.

Ensures strict adherence to all assigned training requirements and integrates the acquired knowledge into daily professional activities.

Stay current with all relevant Gap standards and regulatory obligations associated with this position.

Facilitates essential discussions with clients and vendors regarding critical aspects of the Clinical Supply Chain, including status updates and other pertinent topics.

Delivers administrative assistance to the Clinical Trial Supplies team as needed.

Oversees the systematic evaluation and appraisal of Temperature Excursions submitted to the VIA Clinical Trial Supplies team, ensuring thorough review and assessment procedures are executed.

Performs comprehensive and routine evaluations of risk management to guarantee all potential risks undergo systematic examination and that appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented.

A candidate must possess appropriate education, relevant expertise, and the necessary qualifications.

A university degree or higher qualification in a scientific or business-related discipline is required.

1–2 years of relevant experience in the field of Clinical Trials is required.

Additionally, a minimum of one year of practical experience in Clinical Supply Chain Management is required, encompassing roles in Supply Chain, Packaging, Distribution, or Interactive Response Technology (IRT) functions.

Proficiency in utilizing the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system is essential for this role.

Proven capability in effectively managing projects is essential.

Proven capability to establish and maintain productive professional relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

Proven skills in articulating ideas clearly and guiding teams toward shared objectives are required.

Demonstrates strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve complex issues.

Demonstrates advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, among other applications.

Fluent in written and verbal English communication.
