Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify operational safety and immediately document any defects discovered.
Maintain adherence to road traffic regulations, transport laws, and organizational safety protocols to uphold operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include meticulously loading, securing, and unloading cargo while strictly adhering to established handling protocols to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain precise documentation of deliveries, fuel consumption, mileage, and any incidents through logbook or electronic tracking systems.
Ensure strict adherence to assigned schedules and routes, promptly reporting any delays or incidents encountered.
Maintain the assigned vehicle’s cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and ensure it is well-cared for at all times.
Work with fleet supervisors and mechanics to plan and coordinate maintenance and repair schedules.

Profile
Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the operation of articulated trucks and trailers is required.
We are seeking candidates who possess an O’ level certificate or its equivalent qualification.
A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Heavy Vehicle endorsement is required.
Maintains a pristine driving record, free of any significant traffic violations.
Certified in Defensive Driving for Passenger Service Vehicles (PSV)
Proficiency in occupational health and safety principles serves as an additional asset for this role.
Proficiency in GPS tracking technologies and route optimization methodologies is required.
