The Busra Center for Behavioral Economics is a consultancy and research institution dedicated to evaluating and implementing behavioral interventions in underserved regions and populations. Its mission is to collaborate with researchers and organizations to advance and apply behavioral science in efforts to reduce poverty. This work involves leveraging research and rigorous methodologies to help partners enhance program design, assess existing initiatives, and refine internal operations. To fulfill this goal, Busra has advised a diverse range of organizations by applying behavioral insights, constructing analytical frameworks, and developing innovative solutions. Additionally, as a research hub, Busra operates a state-of-the-art laboratory in Nairobi, where it conducts sophisticated experiments in psychology, behavioral economics, and other academic fields.
